Pastors Bernie and Karen Holford

Bernie and Karen Holford have been married for 25 years. Bernie was a church pastor and now directs the family and children’s ministries departments for his denomination. Karen originally trained as an occupational therapist, and now works with Bernie as his associate. They started working with couples twenty years ago, and they have been running marriage retreats and premarital events since then. In order to enrich their ministry they studied family therapy and are both qualified family therapists. They have a married daughter, one son at university and another in high school. Karen has been writing for God since she was eight and has now authored more than twelve books, as well as over a hundred articles and teaching materials. She also enjoys creating multisensory worship and prayer experiences for people to explore.
