Brianna Barrier Engeler is a successful freelance writer and editor. She works in a variety of genres, from Bible studies to marketing copy, from non-fiction to donor appeals. Brie also holds a variety of publishing credits. For the past four years, she served as the theological editor and assistant writer for Charles Swindoll's Insight for Living ministry in Plano, Texas.
Brianna is a Magna cum Laude graduate of Baylor University, an active member of Phi Beta Kappa, and she recently completed a Master’s degree in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. She has also undertaken some doctoral study in psychology at the University of Texas at Arlington.
As a pastor's wife and a pastor's child, she brings a wealth of experience and understanding to families in ministry. She has served as a conference speaker on this difficult issue, and she is currently planning a book about her experiences as a "ministry survivor."
Brie and her husband, Derrek, have been married for nine years, and they have two furry "children," corgis Ullie Gee and Joscelyn.
