Pastor Derrek Engeler serves as the pastor of outreach and director of the Destin Life Center at Destin United Methodist Church in Destin, Florida. The 42,000 square foot Destin Life Center features sports and recreation as a means to reach seekers with the message of Christ.

Derrek has also served as e-Marketing manager for EvanTell Ministries, the largest supplier of evangelistic resources and training in the United States. Prior to his time at EvanTell, Derrek founded and served as the director of Stonebriar Community Sports, an outreach ministry of Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, Texas.

A passionate evangelist to children, Pastor Engeler also ministered for four years in Sports Outreach Ministry at Prestonwood Baptist Church in the Dallas area, in youth ministry at Casas Church in Tucson, Arizona, and as an associate pastor at Beverly Hills Baptist Church in Waco, Texas.
