John Beeson
Preach It, Teach It Blogger
John Beeson grew up in a loving evangelical Christian home under the care of Pastor Roger Barrier in Tucson, Arizona. Pastor Beeson holds degrees from Gordon College and Princeton Seminary in Biblical Theology. He had the unique experience of working for the self-proclaimed "Toughest Sheriff in America" in a maximum security jail in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. John worked with a range of inmates incarcerated for violent crimes, sex offences, and juvenile detention issues. His experience gave him a unique perspective on life and ministry.
Pastor Beeson currently serves as Assistant Pastor for Ministry Development at Westerly Road Church in Princeton, New Jersey (www.westerlyroad.org). His lovely wife Angel graduated from Westminster Theological Seminary with a Masters of Arts in Biblical Counseling, and is currently maintaining her counseling ministry. They have two precious children: Camille (born in 2003) and Soren (born in 2005). John loves sports, music, movies, and Mexican food.
