Preach It, Teach It Founder

Dr. Roger Barrier, founder Preach It, Teach It, currently serves as senior teaching pastor at Casas Church in Tucson, Arizona. In addition to being an author and sought-after conference speaker, Roger has taught thousands of pastors, missionaries, and Christian leaders in 32 countries worldwide.

He partners with Intimate Life Ministries and also regularly teaches national leaders for Campus Crusade for Christ and various other mission organizations.

Dr. Barrier began preaching at the age of 13, and he shares his 3,000+ sermons with you on his popular website, PreachitTeachit.org, receiving almost a million hits in 210 countries in the last two years. His compelling teaching style is one-of-a-kind, combining a solid biblical foundation with culturally relevant application, engaging illustrations, and astute scholarship.

Casas Church, where Roger has served throughout his thirty-five-year career, is a megachurch known for a well-integrated, multi-generational ministry. The value of including new generations is deeply ingrained throughout Casas to help the church move strongly right through the twenty-first century and beyond.

Dr. Barrier holds degrees from Baylor University, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Golden Gate Seminary in Greek, religion, theology, and pastoral care.

His popular book, Listening to the Voice of God, published by Bethany House, is in its second printing and is available in Thai and Portuguese. His current book, Got Guts, Get Godly, is translated into Russian, Spanish and Urdu. Dr. Barrier has also written a number of journal articles and was a contributing author of The Kingdom and the Power.

Roger is an avid golfer, and he loves to read about and study astrophysics, genetics, and neuroscience in his free time.

The two Barrier daughters, Brianna and Bronwyn, are in full-time Christian ministry. Brianna Barrier Engeler raises funds for international ministries. Bronwyn Barrier Muenckler is a security specialist and consultant for Logic Trends.
