Job's suffering and subsequent restoration teach us three important truths: Forgiveness is worth asking for, justice is worth waiting for, and there is no mercy without justice. God sees Job's heart and uses him to restore his friends who have so misrepresented God's intentions. What emerges is a picture of the cross -- God's justice satisfied and mercy revealed.

The injustices of life in government, oppression and death can cloud our vision of the heavenly life. Don’t be shocked by injustice. It is the result of man’s fallen nature. Don’t give in to injustice. Be a difference maker. Seeking God in prayer allows Him to penetrate our hearts for this hurting world.
