The earth is broken. Relationships are dysfunctional, cultures are oppressed, the world is at war and God is separated from man. In spite of this, the Bible promises the redemption of mankind and restoration of His creation-a new heaven and earth.
Scripture: Revelation 21 - 22, Romans 8:15-25

Scripture: Revelation 21 - 22, Isaiah 55, Daniel 7, Job 19, Romans 8:16-19
God's perfect world is broken because of man's sin. Relationships are dysfunctional, cultures are oppressed, God is no longer in constant communion with man. God promises redemption and restoration through Jesus Christ. Through Him, we who believe will enjoy a new heaven and a new earth.

Scripture: Genesis 2 - 3, Romans 8:15-29, Acts 3:21, Revelation 22:3, Revelation 21:1-7
God has the power to fix the world, and He does care about the suffering. He is working out an eternal plan to redeem and restore it all. Genesis describes how sin entered the world and corrupted it. Revelation describes how God will reestablish it all back. Over and over the Bible links two things which we would usually not link together—“hurts” and “hallelujahs”.
