God declared to Noah that man was so sinful He had to destroy the earth: not just people, but all of the creatures and land He had entrusted to their care. We must learn to repent and care for His creation. Protect it and foster all the glory of God that is on display. God no longer waits to flood the earth with water and wash away life as we know it. Instead, He floods our lives with grace and love, washing away our sin and filling us with His life. The symbol of the rainbow is the symbol of hope: Jesus, our Rescuer and Redeemer.
