Maker of Miracles

How to use Talk It Over:

MAKER OF MIRACLES

(CHRISTINE CAINE)

Talking through the message during the week helps you and your group turn what God is saying to you into action steps.

Begin with the key questions, add any optional scriptures and questions if needed, and then wrap up by deciding on your next

steps.

Christine’s Main Idea:

Let’s not be a church that knows the miracles of God, but instead be a church that is intimately acquainted with the God of

miracles.

Key Questions:

• How have you seen God use people that have been discounted by others?

• What miracle do you need? What ingredients are around you - placed there by God - that could help bring about that

miracle?

• How are you broken? How could God use that brokenness for His good?

Optional Questions: If needed, include one or more of these scriptures and questions to extend your conversation.

• With your Bible or Bible App, read and discuss Mark 6:30-56.

• Reflect on the miracles you’ve experienced. How have you participated in your own miracles?

• Christine said most of the things we ask God for are not miracle issues but management issues. How have you

experienced the truth of this statement?

• What makes Jesus so compelling to you?

• What excuses have you been guilty of using when you don’t want to do something that God has asked you to do?

Next Steps:

• What steps will you take to stop seeking after miracles and instead start trusting the God of miracles in a more intimate

way?
