The Resurrection? Prove It to Me!

Jesus gave His life and rose from the dead not to tell us a story, but to
demand that we give Him our whole lives if we believe in Him and
follow Him. If the Gospel is not all true, then none of it's true.
What happened when it comes to Easter? Is it true? The wrong tomb
theory, the swoon theory and others are refuted. The idea of a
resurrection demands our faith and absolute surrender. If Christ did
not rise, there is no hope.
There is no meaning apart from God. The earth is traveling around the
sun 67,000 miles per hour and we feel no wind. Solomon owned the
world and yet he saw it as throw pillows-vanity, worthless. Are you
environmentally conscious? In your effects to save the planet, the
planet will be destroyed. You, like Christopher Hitchens said, do not
exist as you. When his doctors told him, "you are fighting this disease
really well" Hitchens said, "I don't have a body."
An atheistic worldview has no room for God. If you are explained as a
cosmic accident by biology, physics and chemistry, then there is no
soul. None of your deepest desires make any sense. We long for
forgiveness, peace, but we are missing something. We somehow want
something more. Why would we be so obsessed with justice? Why do
we feel “It’s not fair?” In a world governed by natural selection, no one
should care about fair.
C.S. Lewis said, "The universe seemed so cruel and unjust. But how
did I get the idea of just and unjust? A man does not call a line
crooked unless he has the idea of a straight line." If there's a God of
love, why would He allow suffering?
There's no hope if there is no God. If Christ did die and was raised,
hope has a name. His name is Jesus. He will hear your prayer. You say
life has no meaning? Everything matters to God! We can go to work
knowing that everything matters. As for this concept of you being you,
you will never not be you. Jesus proved this when He said, "God of
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob." These patriarchs, they are still
themselves. Christ shall redeem every person from death and give
them a resurrected body. What are these desires we have? Because of
what Jesus has done, there is an answer for every ache.
We were made for a person and a place. C.S. Lewis also said,
“…heaven once attained, will work backwards, turning every pain into
glory!”
