Rod Robison

Rod Robison’s professional background is in entertainment, broadcasting, writing, and marketing. In the mid-1970s, he co-founded a band, touring and recording until 1979. He wrote lyrics to several songs recorded by the group and other artists, including one recorded by Amy Grant on her Grammy Award-winning, platinum-selling album, Age to Age. After the group disbanded, Rod completed his broadcasting degree at Cedarville University in Ohio, then worked in an executive role for radio and television networks for the next 40 years. Since the 1990s, he has also performed as a magician/mentalist and motivational speaker for corporate, organizational, and church events.
He is the author of the book, The Magic of Cultivating Positive Emotions, and co-author of Unmasking the Masquerade: Three Illusionists Investigate Deception, Fear, and the Supernatural.
Rod and his wife, Jeannie, live on a small ranch in Arizona where they raise iconic saguaro cacti for landscaping. They have five children, one son-in law and two daughters-in-law, and six grandkids.
